Top 5 Wednesday is a Booktube group which makes book related top five lists. I’m not very regular with my Youtube videos so I’ll post them here instead when I can.

For more info on the group looks here on the Goodreads page:

This week is ‘Side Ships ’. Relationships that don’t involve the protagonist. Have to admit it’s the protagonists I usually go for so some of them might seem strange:

Honrable mentions:

Lord Asriel and Mrs Coulter in His Dark Materials

Madame Vastra and Jenny in Doctor Who

Rory and Amy in Doctor Who

5) Betty and Bill Lamont in Demon Road:

I was going between them and Lyra’s parents in His Dark Materials. The Lamont’s only won because they were actually together rather than Asriel and Coulter.

Anyway, these two are one of the antagonists but they are hilarious. Not sure if they are actually in love but they have been together for over a 100 years and really work well together, especially in killing their and their friends’ children.

4) Emrys / Malakai in Throne of Glass:

Not sure, as I’ve only read the first three books, but I think they are only in one of the books. They are so cute, I actually have nothing else to say about them, though I keep wanting to call Emrys, Merlin because of the name.

3) Magnus / Alec in The Mortal Instruments:

Image result for magnus and alecAgain so cute together, and I love Magnus.

2) Oz / Willow / Tara in Buffy the Vampire Slayer:

Ok, I couldn’t decide between Willow with Oz or Willow with Tara. I love Tara but I love Willow’s relationship with Oz.

1) Fred and Wesley in the Buffyverse:

I don’t know how but I nearly forgot about these two until I was looking for pictures for Willow’s relationships. (And I know the pic doesn’t really show Fred)

I love these characters on their own (well Wesley in Angel anyway) and they work so well together.
